The Bolshoi Japanese Tour - Don Quixote

Ananiashvili’s performance in Don Quixote was the highlight of the Bolshoi Japanese tour. Her Kitri was full of happiness and it continued to go up from her first appearance to end of the ballet.

For example, in Act ll, her solo as Dulcinea was dazzling, particularly the repeated Sissonne Soubresaut and attitude. Her technique in the steps was extraordinary, especially her excellent ability to balance.

Ananiashvili’s superb technique has always been obvious but she has further developed it to express more than academically well-balanced beauty.

Her position and popularity have already been at the summit. Her acting is further developed and she is the special star among principals of the Bolshoi.
