Nina Ananiashvili & International Stars ’98

Charms of Mannerism, Dreams About Japan, Don Quixote Pas de Deux, Le Corsaire Pas de Deux, Polacca

Because of high level of dancing, the audience fully enjoyed the performance. Ananiashvili told at the reception that our group is small but the level of our performance is equivalent to big ballet company. This is very true.

Even in a monotonous piece like Polacca, such high caliber dancers riveted the audience’s eye to the stage.

I was moved bythe development of Ananiashvili’s performance throughout the tour. My previous impression was that she  is a classical dancer with excellent technique. It was amazing that her means of expression has developed so much. She danced contemporary works so attractively. Her superb technique is flourishing. I look forward to seeing more of this great once-in-a-century ballerina.
