| Nina's tour of
Japan, between September 16 and ended in October 6, which commemorated the 20th
anniversary of her Bolshoi Ballet debut, had ten performances in nine cities. In
connection with the tour, a number of souvenirs had been produced for her many fans in
Japan. At the request of a few friends, Nina graciously assisted in the development of
these. She chose pictures from her personal collection and provided ideas for the
tee-shirts, even sketching a Nina "logo" herself. These souvenirs were
sold at the various performance venues during the tour and continues to be sold in ballet
shops in Japan.

THE TEE SHIRTS
Three tee-shirts are available; of particular interest is her sketch
to the left which shows a ballerina whose arms and legs are arranged in a way that means
"Nina" in Japanese. These will be produced for several sizes, including
children. Colors include black, blue and white. The sketch is also used for a tote
bag. |

The current plan remains to sell these souvenirs only in Japan. We
are trying to persuade the manufacturer to entertain orders from elsewhere. Should you be
interested in some of these, let us know through Spider@ananiashvili.com.
